An important clarification regarding the Jaunt Bus AM Departure Time…
There was some question about moving the departure time in the morning to an earlier time, following some discussions between the Jaunt driver and some of the FUMA parents. I have since clarified with FUMA as well as Jaunt, and the departure time for the AM bus run will continue to be 6:45 a.m. to 6:50 a.m. It is important that we do not waiver from that departure time, as anything earlier will put the cadets at school before 7:00 a.m. FUMA has asked that cadets not arrive before 7:00 a.m. Our current departure time typically puts the cadets at a 7:10 to 7:15 a.m. arrival, which works well with the morning school schedule.
Jaunt indicated that their driver’s comments about arriving earlier was in his effort to allow proper time for purchasing of tickets. As a courtesy, if you know that you will need to purchase tickets, please plan to arrive a few minutes prior to departure so that you have ample time to purchase your tickets and the bus can still depart timely between 6:45 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
