Thanks to the hard work of our Parents Association Chair, Cathy Chiovaro, we have received and published the updated transportation information for day students using the JAUNT Bus to travel to and from campus. This information, along with the required "conduct contract" to be completed by cadets and parents, can be found in our Download Forms Center at the link below:

Mrs. Chiovaro adds the following addendum to the information presented:
"I wanted to clarify the cost of the bus tickets. I had sent our information to Jaunt prior to sending it out and they did not pick up on the difference in trip rates. I called today (thank you to Margaret Estes for raising this to my attention and inquiring), and in fact, JAUNT IS OFFERING TO CONTINUE TICKET PRICES at the reduced amount of $1.25 per trip, that they offered at the end of the school year last year (2015-16).
"The Jaunt service is a contract service, however, they are dependent on ridership. Obviously, we are all feeling the advantage of lower gas prices and as well they felt that their ridership numbers had declined and thought that reducing the rates would be a way to encourage more riders. Ms. Taylor assured me that they will honor the reduced ticket price for the entire school year, which is really a huge impact for riders, who will now pay half as much in transportation expense as may have been expected."
